Epson Stylus® C62 InkJet Printer

I bought this printer 3 yrs ago and it is the best printer i have ever owned. It just recently started acting up as i have printed the heck out of it.Beautiful color photos and great performance. The cartriges were cheap and i loved it. Any one that has anything bad to say about this printer doesnt know anything about printers. So what if the cartriges arent refillable. The ink is cheap and if you want a great printer you will buy new ones for it. Quit being so Cheap!!!!! I Swear by this product, Epson printers are the best. Wendy Greenwood

The Epson C62 is by no means a cutting edge printer. But it is a great utility printer. They can tend to self-destruct after a whle. I have owned 3 or 4 and most have lasted at least 2-3 years. I also use the remanufactured ink cartridges (most everywhere can get a bundle of color/black for $25) and I use the Inksaver software to adjust how much ink I use for every print job. That way I am able to economize as needed. The Epson C62 has been a very good and reliable printer.

I've had this printer for about 3 years and It is the best printer I have ever owned. Everyone of you people that put this printer down have major problems and have no clue what ur talking about and shouldn't even be writing reviews. The person above says you cant refill it, NO KIDDING because you can get oh wait lets see 5 blacks and what 4 colors for about 20 bucks? THAT IS WHY YOU DONT REFILL THE CARTRIDGE. You are getting a sweet printer and ink for so cheap its such an unbelievable deal. IF YOU CAN GET THIS ANYWHERE I WOULD SO RECOMMEND BUYING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the third epson C62 I have purchased and for the money, they can't be beat. The main reason is a small inital price and the generic ink cartridges are readily available and very low in price, many on ebay. Just search Epson c62 ink and you will find many dirrerent prices. The expensive ones are made my Epson. The generics for the most part are about one tenth the price.If price of operation is important in purchasing, check around and find the prices for replacement ink.Some their is no generic.

I bought this printer because I previously had one similar to it, the Epson Stylus C60 Inkjet Printer, which I wore out. This is the perfect printer for someone who does not want or need all the fancy features that the more pricey printers have, such as the ability to print out pictures from your digital camera. The Epson inks are true in color. One feature that I like is that when you make the selection to have your pages print in reverse order, this stays in effect until you change it. Another printer that I have, which was higher in price, does not have this feature. It will print in reverse order, but this option will not stay for all future printing unless I select it again. That is a nuisance, to say the least, especially when you are printing 50 or so pages at a time! The C62 printer also feeds the paper evenly, but my more costly printer doesn't most of the time -- the sheets feed in crooked, making my print-outs lop-sided. There is nothing that I don't like about this printer. This model is hard to find because it is not being manufactured any more. I rate this product as EXCELLENT.

Nice old workhorse! Easy even for non computer savvy people to connect and use. Simple is GOOD. Also works with webTV, which is my dad's internet connection. A nice, uncomplicated piece of machinery.

I don't have one of these printers but I have an Epson CX3200 which uses the same ink cartridges. and in spite of what Epson tells you and what some people have said her, you can refill the cartridges. I refill mine all the time.

There is a computer chip on teh cartridges and you need to purchase a chip resetter to make your printer accept the refilled cartridge. You can buy one on line for <$10. They used to be around $25.

But cartridges are very cheap <$5 each online.

So take your pick - refill or purchase.

This printer is the 3rd epson I have owned. I like the fact that you can buy after market ink on Ebay dirt cheap. After market ink is not what I would use if I was printing photos. I use my printer to print shipping labels for items I auction on Ebay. However, useing genuine epson ink photos look great. I use genuine ink in an epson that I print my photos with. At a retail price of $79.95 back in '05 it's not the best printer out there. But, you can't beat this printer for what I paid for it. (werk117)

I bought the Epson Stylus C62 because I had already had one. It is a great printer - fast and clear, but the only problem you have is that when it has been used a lot (as in a business) you will only get about 3 years out of it before it gives you a factory service only and it is just cheaper to buy a new printer.

This is the same model and brand of printer that I was already using. I really liked this printer and most importantly, I found a supplier of the ink cartridges with a very affordable price. I had already purchased a good supply of replacement cartridges and wanted the same printer. The only dislike was that my shipping charges increased as my bidding price increased. The location to and from and the product did not change since the beginning of the bidding process. The automatic calculation system must have flaws which this issue still has not been resolved. All in all, this was a very good experience for one of my initial purchases from ebay. I am a very happy camper.
