My brother had an older scanner, the Epson PERFECTION 1670 AC Adapter 2084614 Flatbed Scanner, and I found it to be the best and most user freindly device to convert old Kodak slides to digital photos for display on the new digital projectors as well as digital storage. I was thrilled when I saw this scanner on Ebay. The seller was very responsive and my "new" old scanner is being put to good use. The newest technology is not always the best. Some of the first scanners are still better than the newest ones. Thanks
