Envision Monitors H170L 17 inch LCD Monitor

This was my 1st LCD monitor purchase. Even though I don't know much about them, this monitor is lightweight, started right up with no adjustments needed to fit the screen properly, even before I downloaded & installed the right driver for it--and I as instantly amazed at the color brilliance--sharpness, the "WOW factor", I call it. Every time I turn it on, I just have to say a resounding WOW! I had been using a heavy, bulky analog monitor for years, & this Envision monitor showed me how dull & lifeless the colors had been on the older one. And the Envision is an older model also, in the lower resolution range, but has crisp clear bright colors! I can't imagine one with higher resolution being even better. I would buy Envision products again, that's for sure! The only reason I didn't give this monitor an Excellent rating, is due to text not being as clear to read--but then--it IS lower resolution, so is performing in it's intended range. For the price, I'm MORE THAN PLEASED. I couldn't afford a higher end, pricier, newer model.

I like it, works well, but I thought it would include built in speakers. The rest, perfect! the definition is good, plug and play, allows different resolutions... excelent for working with large spreadsheets or to watch a movie.

I have 2 H170L, one was purchase brand new, one was used , somehow my own one is more shaper and clear than a used one.

We love the product - the screen is clear and the monitor lived up to everything it advertised. Here is the problem - the monitor only last 1 month before it started jumping around the screen, we have to literally hold the cord in the back in to see the screen. I emailed the seller and he has a return policy of only 14 days. Therefore we are out 75.00 I guess. Oh well, lesson learned - I am going to Best Buy and buy one locally, because with electronics there are too many things that can go wrong - and there is no back up with ebay. Product great - but selling and buying on Ebay is a risk you either take or don't take.

I was so tired of the big size of my monitor, and the space it took up on my desk. This monitor is slim and with the big screen I can move it back away from my face. The brightness don't bother my eyes any more so I can work on the computer longer. It was well worth the money spent.
