Enough (DVD, 2002)

Jennifer Lopez performs very well in this movie about a woman who is abused and says - ENOUGH! She takes self-defense lessons and arms herself with knowledge to protect herself. A great movie to add to your collection.

I'm only reviewing this because I was looking for Enough!, the masterpiece written by Donald E. Westlake, wondering if it had been made into a movie, and stumbled here. I was surprised people actually bothered to write reviews about this movie, and even more some had taken it seriously, even expressing a positive opinion. This was probably the stupidest movie I've ever seen, complete with see-through plot, unidimensional manichean characters, and obvious commercial aim towards women, victims of all sorts, and just about any weak mind craving revenge upon a control freak. Not a bad calculation, just a bad movie, that says a lot about how the makers estimate those audiences' intelligence. But by reading some of the reviews posted here, it seems they might not have been totally wrong in their estimates.
A movie you can watch, and forget.

My girlfriend is a liccensed clinical Psychotherapist and used the movie in
class for abused women. It was a very good example of abuse both physical and mental and what one must do to counteract such behavior.

I watched part of this movie on my break at work and wanted to see all of it so I purchased it. The movie was EXCELLENT, very captivating and empowering for women in abusive relationships. Highly recommend!!!!

THIS MOVIE HAD SO MUCH SUSPENSE, I WAS ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT!! THIS MOVIE STARS JENNIFER LOPEZ AS A HARD WORKING WAITRESS CALLED SLIM WHO FINDS HERSELF INVOLVED IN A DOMESTIC RELATIONSHIP. SHE ESCAPES FROM THIS RELATIONSHIP ONLY TO LEARN THAT HER EX-LOVER IS TRYING TO FIND HER AND HURT HER ONCE AGAIN. SEE HOW SHE LEARNED TO DEFEND HERSELF AND HER CHILD FROM THE DANGERS OF HER EX-HUSBAND. A GREAT AND POWERFUL MOVIE. JENNIFER LOPEZ AT HER BEST!

I've watched this movie on TV over and over, and I can never get tired this is why i purchased it. It is a great example of self respect and close home to a lot of people who might be going trough the same situation, one got to do what they have to do to survive. Love this movie

I love how it "Shows how a female becomes strong enough to protect herself and her child." In todays world you can overcome your fears.

As Women we don't have to take that kind of abuse. I really only bought this DVD because it kept comming up...I LOVE it!!!

I love this movie! It depicts a woman's strength, courage, and endurance very well. Enough is inspirational and Jennifer Lopez does a great acting job in this movie.

The movie is one that all women in an abusive relationship should see, it shows that a woman can escape an abuser. I even liked the way it ended. I purchased this for a neice who is in a bad relationship. However I think it shows that women are more capable than they get credit for.

Enough is a good film with a good pace and strong performances by Jennifer Lopez and Billy Campbell.

I get really tired of society's battered wives who choose to stay and take the abuse...it makes me angry and sad at the same time.
Enough is about a woman who came from nothing, married into everything, lived the good life until she discovers her husband is a cheater and beater. Rather than taking the abuse and becoming a victim, she runs...and arms herself with her own knowledge and finds power within herself that she no doubt never knew she had.
This movie is really moving, empowering and has a great story line. While Jennifer Lopez is not my favorite, she definitely does a great job in "Enough"

I enjoyed the quality the DVD was in and the shipping was very prompt. It was not gift wrapped but was in perfect condition.

I wanted to add this dvd to my collection for the longest time. The only copy I could ever find was in Spanish. Finally it dawned on me to search on ebay. I found the dvd ordered and paid for it and in a matter of days it arrived on my doorstep. It was very easy to do and a much easier way to shop. Glad I finally came to my senses and let my fingers do the walking and cut out all the driving and wasted time looking for some thing was right at my finger tips.

i love this movie i like jennifer lopez she is a good actress in some of her movies....(lol) i bought this dvd because it was one of my favorites.

This movie is the bomb! Since this movie was made for TV my mom was afraid that it would not be available on DVD. If you're looking, you will see that there are many copies available here on ebay. Jlo kicks butt in this movie. You will be cheering her on and wanting to get out of your chair and help her! My mom watches this movie every time it comes on TV and I have seen it several times. Highly recommended to anyone in a BAD relationship to empower them, give them hope, and maybe a few pointers to help them STAY ALIVE! Action packed; GOOD men will also enjoy this movie.

I was looking for this movie. A friend had never seen it and my husband and I think it is a GREAT movies about how a woman CAN OVERCOME her brutal husband. It shows strength and compassion. We simply love it!! Everyone should see it.

I love the product I was sold. It was still in its wraper like it was brand new, there were no scratches on the disc. I've been looking for that movie for a while now and I'm so glad that i even got it for a good price

Good movie like the action. Jennifer Lopez plays her part well. I have to have

Thanks for the movie. My family and friends enjoyed it. It is good to keep for collection. The move has excellent sound and visual quality. I received the movie sooner than expected. I like the character of the movie, I'm collecting movies of J. Lo. I also use the movie in my classroom. I share it with the students. It is good for students to watch. I also shared it with our school counserlors.

I like the whole thing, love the action from jlo.There is nothing i disliked about it. I bought it because I had a copy and it disappeared and I couldn't find the movie anywhere.
