Very educational regarding taxation of the people. The books gives many examples of how raising taxes above a certain level has the adverse effect of growing the economy. Full of ideas and examples. These guys know some stuff. Book is also big on bringing in the "Flat Tax" It is time some changes are made in our tax system and these guys have taken the lead.

Excellent book. Well written in easy-to-understand layman's terms. Gives you a fundamental understanding, with historical data to back it up, of how the economy works. More importantly, it gives you an understanding of how to make better investment and make economic decisions about your personal finances based upon where we are headed with the current U.S. government debt and the world economy. I plan to give it to my adult children to read when I am finished with it.

) What a fantastic read! This book explains in "layman" terms how taxes effect our economy. Bascially, in a nut-shell, the higher taxes we pay, the less money the government actually brings in! The more taxes we pay, the less money we as consumers have to spend. Also the higher the taxes, the more tax evasion & fruad is commited. People just need to review our economic history to discover what Laffer, Tanous, & More say is true! You shouldn't complain about the state of our economy if you are not informed & go to the voter's booth that way! I loved that this book was written in a non-partisan style. If you are a Republican or a Democrat, it doesn't matter. Facts speak for themselves & affect us all. Be informed!!!
