) This book is one of my favorites. I've ordered multiple copies for my nephews and a couple of friends who enjoy reading and seeing pictures of old-style farming. It works well as a reference book by having the items sorted by categories.

Encyclopedia of Antique Tools & Machinery by C.H. WendaI am a Wood Pattern Maker, similar trade to a luthier, so I found the book somewhat below my abilities. However, for the entry level woodworker up to the cabinetmaker who wants to learn more about antique tool, I highly recommend it! For anyone interested in tool history, this os one of many books you should keep on you shelf and read often! I know I will. Very good photo's and text. For a good price, one cannot go wrong!
