encyclopedia of wrestling
this book is great because it takes the reader behind the "curtain" and examines the business side of the sport, including it's unsavory beginnings as far as blacklistings and cronisms. Stories about wrestlers being ripped off by the promoters or not getting paid at all. Some great old time stories of wrestlers who now have "legend" status. And other stories on how some wrestlers were held back from "making it" Overall a great historical account of pro wrestling's beginning.
