Enclave (Xbox, 2002)

I bought this game because it is a RPG. This is a very good game and a lot of fun. There is a good variety to the fighting techniques used. The graphics are good and there are things to figure out on your own so it isn't a "button masher" where you are fighting constantly. It could have been an excellent game if there had been a Save Mode available. You have to complete a level before saving and some levels are long and can be difficult. It is still a good game that offers hours of entertainment. If you don't like repeating the same level until you can complete it this won't the game for you.

I was surprised at how much i liked this game. It is difficult enough that you cannot just breeze through it, but easy enough that you dont end up throwing your controller across the room. (well a couple parts maybe...)There are many different levels to play, with both light and dark quests. I personally wouldve preferred an RPG element to the game, where you could build the characters and weapons, but instead you just choose a character that best suits the level and new weapons come at the end of each level so you can easily upgrade. The characters can use magic, swords, axes, bow & arrow, and crossbows for attacking. The levels also vary, some are outside with a lot of room to roam and others are inner kingdoms with rooms and hallways to explore. The cover doesnt do this game any justice. If I had to throw a light comparison out there, i would say that the game is similar to baldur's gate or bard's tale, but without the witty dialogue.

The graphics aren't bad but the controls take alittle getting used to. It would be nice to be able to save it more often and the money is set at an amount for each level. The game could use some work. Overall not bad.

What My son likes about this game is that it is in excellent condition with no scratches and works great playing. Will definetly buy from seller again!
