Enchanted April (VHS, 1993)

This is a wonderful story of how a holiday on the sea taken by 4 unacquainted women who answer a newspaper ad, away from their varied London lives, so changes their lives and those around them. Beautiful scenery, cast, story - utterly enjoyable.

This was a delightful story about women for women. It was recommended to me by a friend. Since I could not find a copy at the video stores, I ordered it from e-Bay. It is full of beautiful scenery and is very romantic. It is about women of different ages and would appeal to women of different ages.

This is a factory recorded movie. Therefore, the seller is honest as far as I can tell. The delivery was timely.

Gives practical ideas for improving relationships! I bought it because my former University music teacher (Richard Bunger)is writing/recording a musical based on this movie.
He suggested it and I must say that it inspires us to place a value on people and relationships, to be patient with people and bring out the best on them. It's more than jsut fiction!

This story is a must see for all those who have things that are going wrong in their lives.
This involves 4 women who are unhappy for one reason or another. They escape for 1 month to this castle in Portofino & there they interact and see things more clearly. They change without knowing it & therefore fulfill there own happiness.

Wonderful movie and just beautiful to look at. A must see this movie. This is a movie that you will enjoy and not be ashamed to watch with your family.

THIS IS AN ENCHANTING MOVIE. SUPERBLY CAST, SUPERBLY DIRECTED, AND SUPERBLY FILMED. IT EXPLORES THE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN 4 WOMEN AND THE MEN IN THEIR LIVES. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS MOVIE IS PERFECT. POLLY WALKER IS A DREAM TO WATCH!

It's so nice to watch a movie that is excellent in all aspects. It can be watched with anyone (decent, non violent),is well written, has great values, is realistic, perfect cast of actors and has a happy ending! It appeals to your emotions and your mind. Timeless. Medicinal. A true classic.

This is without a doubt one of the best all time movies! I recommend everyone see this at least once. I watch it more often, nearly 2-3 times a year! It's very uplifting, and visually beautiful! One of my top 10 movies!

I am auditioning for a part in this play. Wanted to see the movie version to know the story. It is out of print so I went to ebay and there it was. Haven't watched the entire thing yet, but product seems to be in good condition and sale was handled in timely manor.

This is one of the best films/stories. It's an extremely well written, produced and acted. The story is quiet (in typical British fashion) and involves a little mystery, romance and real life, revolving around several characters who find themselves together on holiday in Italy. The photography is fabulous and it IS altogether "enchanting". Well worth viewing over and over again. A real classic.

I bought this dvd for research, as I was cast as Lady Caroline in the stageplay. The play is much more interesting and entertaining than the film. If you get a chance, see it on stage.
