A great cast and outlandishly hilarious spot-gags., with lightning fast blasts of comedic ruptures., present the foundation of "Employee Of The Month". - How many times have we "ALL" laughed at the idea of the Employee of the Month., and how ridiculously important it is to some people? Well that's exactly what stand-up comedian Dane Cook brings us. A scruffy, low-key charm to this top-shelf comedy that generates over-the-top laughter and soda-spurting through the nose laughing bursts from the Dane Cook "raunch charisma". - This amusing workplace comedy combines satire, broad slapstick humor and a twisted spin of "boy meets girl" to narrative, with Jessica Simpson as the Barbie Doll object of Cook's affections. - This comedy, laced with the usual fart and insult humor, brings "Employee of the Month" to the point Dane Cook wants us. Pushing the crude-humor envelope like Cook's last film, the hit-sensation "gross-out" film "Waiting". - Our new "Office Space" cult-hit takes place almost entirely inside the "Super Club", a Costco-like bulk-discount retailer where slacker box boy Zack Bradley,(Cook), regularly clashes with egotistical head cashier Vince Downey,(Dax Shephard). While Zack spends more time hanging out with his motley co-workers Lon,(Andy Dick), Iqbal (Brian George), and Russell (Harland Williams) than working, Vince has racked up 17 consecutive "Employee of the Month" titles. WOW !!!! LOL - Not that Zack cares. It has simply given him another, and best, reason to taunt Vince and his only pal, Jorge (Efren Ramirez). BUT when he learns that sexy new cashier Amy Renfro,(Jessica Simpson), only dates Super Club "Employees of the Month," Zack decides to wrestle that title away from Vince, who's launched his own charm offensive for Amy's affections. - The battle-lines are drawn in the aisles, as the assault for that "Employee of the Month" Title is underway., and no one is safe, or sacred!! - Thanks mainly to Cook's genial presence and Shepard's inspired performance as the vain, self-important Vince, this film moves us ahead into the laugh-arena unlike any film., designed around the workplace (since "Office Space"). The former Punk'd sidekick enlivens every scene he's in., as surprisingly does Simpson, who's sexy appeal drives the montague. -- Quite frankly., the love-battle has never been so keenly drawn and laughable. This is the NEW "Office Space" cult-hit for the 2000's !! This film is worth the watch and many watches after that !! SEE THIS !! Get off the reality of the world., and our own stressful jobs., and take this crazy laugh-trip. Guaranteed laughs., and we all need them.
