Movie Description
Those legends of children's live action programming, Rankin and Bass, used their talent to produce THE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES for ABC television in 1972. Using their unique and advanced (for the time) blend of live action, animation and their trademarked "animagic" process, the 2 men beautifully recreate Hans Christen Anderson's classic tale. Filmed on location at the writer's hometown in Denmark, the program stars the loveable comedian Danny Kaye (THE COURT JESTER.)
