Eloise at the Plaza (DVD, 2003)

Eloise is a favorite of mine so I was anxious to see this movie. I was not sure if the real person rather than an animated show would work but it does. The actress is perfect. She makes the movie so much fun. She steals the scenes. The movie is slightly different than the book but nevertheless it is absolutely adorable. The movie is funny, witty, sharp, and sweet. Nanny is fantastic, too. It is a must-see movie for all.

Retro in style, back to the 1950's. A smart and curious little girl with lots of spunk, beloved by all. It's a movie you would be safe leaving your children with - unsupervised - buy why would you want to? You'll enjoy it as much as they will!

My girls are 6 and almost 4 and they loved this movie.
It's a very funny, good wholesome family movie with a refreshing moral value to it.
I would definately recommend this movie.

I was looking for this DVD at an affordable price and possibly in good condition. I found it immediately on e-bay. I took the cheapest on the list of offerings and choosed a vendor that would take paypal. The description was clear, the quality of the picture was good and the delivery cost was reasonable.

I bought this movie because It is a wholesome funny movie that is suitable for the children in my family to watch.It is also entertaining enough for me to watch without nodding off. Julie Andrews is absolutely great as the nanny.

I chose to buy this item because I needed to update my collection of child friendly movies. This movie wasn't a cartoon, so that was a big selling point! A person can only take so many animated movies in any given week. This video was fun and enlightening, and it kept my daughter fully entertained the whole way through. I am happy to say that I got exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

I love this little girl. Julie Andrews is fantastic as the nanny. A wonderful story any time of year, but pair it up with Eloise at Christmastime for a real holiday treat.

I love Eloise! She's technically for the kids, but the movies are funny enough that adults won't be bored to tears. It's a great movie. I also suggest "Eloise at Christmastime" I actually like it better than this one.

This is a fast paced movie with Eloise running around all over the hotel and elsewhere. My first impression wasn't so good, however, after watching it the second time I enjoyed it much more. I love watching this family friendly type movie over and over with the grand children---once or twice is never enough for young children and they enjoy having company with their entertainment.

Good for children and parents we all want to do some funny stuff in an hotel.It's a good family movie I just hope they are gonna do some more movie with Eloise :)

The DVD was entertaining for older children, my 3-year old grandchildren were not impressed; however, I do believe that in time they will love this story also.

The seller NEVER sent us our Eloise video. We got scammed. I tried to buy this video for my autistic 7 year old daughter. Enjoy my 8 dollars, jerk.

This DVD was exactly as described. We had rented the movie and my daughter loved it, but I couldn't find it for sale anywhere new. This used copy was very reasonably priced and the shipping was reasonable as well.

It was an extremely pleasing movie, a "feel good" movie about a little girl living at the Plaza. The actors were excellent, and I think not only your child but the child in you will enjoy it.

I had been looking for this movie for a long time. This time I got a really great deal on this movie. I got it for only a penny. Well imagine my surprise when I played the movie for the first time and it was perfect. There were no defects at all. The kids at my house love the Eloise movies. I think I initially bid on this movie because I didn't believe I could get it for a penny. But I did. It turned out to be a great deal at a great price. I am glad I bought it.

This was a surprisingly good movie. I did not expect it to be so good. I am partial to Eloise and always have been. I thought it would be fun to get the movie as I bought the doll. I had my husband and 14 year old son sit down and watch it with me and they enjoyed it (although my 14 year old pretended not to - he kept coming back in the room. It was obvious he was at least somewhat enjoying it. Amazing in itself.) It was a little sappy in parts, but to be expected. Had a rather good message of never giving up, seeing the glass as half full, and the importance of telling people how you feel, listening to people, respect, and all that good stuff. I loved it!!!! (but then I am sick to death of all these depressing movies)

The movie was very cute for the entire family. I would recommend it to both kids and adults. The things Eloise gets into is just too funny.

I bought this DVD as addition to my Julie Andrews collections. I am a Julie Andrews'fan and I want to have a copy of all her songs and movies. This movie itself is entertaining. Eloise was played very well by the lead child actress and Julie as always is great on this movie.

It was in Very good condition. I received it quickly. My daughter absoulely loved it. Particualy about her meeting the Prince. I had good dealings with this person.
