Elna 2130 Sewing Machine

I bought this for my adult daughter- she needed a good machine to start sewing. I read a wonderful review from an experienced sewer who bought this as her carry around machine for classes she took. So if it was good enough for a Quilter- to be happy as a back up machine I knew I was probably safe. This is a wonderfully solid machine. Not too complicated- or overwhelming but much better quality that the stuff you buy from local walmart etc. (better than much of what they sell at fabric stores) Nothing more frustrating to a new sewer than a machine that has bobbin jamming issues etc. This Elna runs, smooth and hums along! great stitches and portable but solid. I love it! a bargain on EBAY. Wish this had been my first machine.
