Ellen - The Complete Season 1 (DVD, 2004, 2-Disc Set)

Ellen Season One was awesome DVD set. I would recommend this to anyone of most all ages. Good script and acting. I think this is a show that was ended seasons too early.

i love everything about this, it is so funny and i just love ellen in general and thats mostly why i bought this and im glad i did...it was money very well spent.

I recently purchased Ellen: The Complete First Season from Marvey2, it came here really fast without any damage, every disk was in excellent condition. I highly recommend this seller...

the first 2 or 3 seasons of this show are good and rather funny. after that I quit watching as the story line changes dramatically and is no longer funny but more of a political statment than anything else.

I'm very glad I won this one. I forgot how funny it was!I had waqtched this sitcom years ago,now I can watch it anytime.

Believe me, if you're looking for a comedy series, look no further. This is one series that I have not regretted trying. Ellen gets in all sorts of comical problems and always finds a way out of it. This show, in my opinion, does what other shows are afraid to do and more. It's an open-minded show and Ellen proves that she doesn't care what she says. This is one series that needs to be checked out for all the comedy lovers out there.

I am a huge fan of Ellen DeGeneres and love the show. If you are someone that appreciates good humor and quick wit, I think you will certainly enjoy this dvd.

who dosent love the funniest lady in prime time , shes grown to be quit the enteranier,iam going to give this review for all 4 of the ellens because i own all of her shows and iam giving a good review because she was so funny she knew how to make you laugh with some of her witts , i was to fond of the first season thought but i did watch it and i liked some of what i saw in the show , i think a lot of it was being her first time on tv and her own show the casting was not to good ,and stories really had no plot to them,but you knew what they were talking about the rest of the seasons where good great story lines and you knew what they were talking about ,if you love or even like ellen i would get the box sets, i own all of them and i enjoy them

i love ellen, her talk show all her tv series, movies etc. i am trying to collect everything about her, books photos etc.

Ah Ellen! What can I say. One of the brightest and most talented comediennes, she brings her incredible talent to the small screen. Surrounding herself with other talented actors who compliment her style, most notably Arye Gross as her roommate, this sitcom is totally believeable. With realistic characters going through everyday situations in off-beat ways, she clearly set the path for Friends. Interesting that the orifginal title was "These Friends Of Mine" which unfortunately has been removed from the opening sequence for this set. It is no wonder that Ellen DeGeneres has risen to the incredible heights, in spite of controversy, that she has.
