I had seen 2 episodes of this show when it first aired and I really liked it. Ellen, president of her own dotcom company goes back home to smalltown "Clark" to visit her family. During this visit, she discovers her business has folded and decides to stay in town. The show presents a funny look at small-town Americana at its most quirky but wholesome. It is engaging and fun to watch. I was both surprised and disappointed when I heard that it was cancelled. There are some really good, funny moments here. In one episode, Mary Tyler Moore guest stars as Ellen's aunt and it was really funny. I looked for sales of this show online and I was glad to find it on ebay. The cast is excellent: Jim Gaffigan, Cloris Leachman (who is very funny playing Ellen' mom), Martin Mull and Kerri Kenney. Ellen herself is in top form playing a woman who is maybe a little bit more assertive than the character she played on the other "Ellen" series.
