Elixir ultra-thin NANOWEB coating Electric Guitar Strings

I've used Ernie Ball, D'Addario, DR, GHS, and more before trying Elixir strings. After trying Elixir strings on one electric guitar I bought this brand for every electric and acoustic guitar I own. I have not replaced them with another brand since.

The Nanoweb and Polyweb coated versions have both held up very well for me. I wondered if the coatings would make the strings feel heavier or bulkier, but they do not. The coating seems to make the strings a little more smooth, which makes sliding feel better to me. It also helps keep rust off of the strings. My guitars may sit in the garage for a while in either summer heat or winter cold, then be moved in the house or wherever. I used to have trouble with rust from doing this, not with the Elixirs.
