Surprisingly fun!

I had a chance to buy this game for next to nothing, but didn't. Then "Nintendo Power" magazine listed it as their favorite title for the DS and I had to see what the fuss was about. Initially, I didn't like the idea that this game is basically "Dance Dance Revolution" without all the physical movements that made that game worthwhile and fun- I figured than any game where you pretend to dance by poking a screen just wasn't worth spending time with, but I was wrong. The magazine articles stated that the reason they rated it number one was because this was the only game that consistently brought a smile to their faces every time they played it, and that it definitely the case! The story line is fun and the "between beat" animations are funny and sometimes even heart-warming. It's hard to explain exactly why this game is as appealing as it is, but I do know that I find myself grinning and bopping along to it every time I play it! It's one of those guilty-pleasures in life....like a moped: a lot of fun to use, but you might not want your friends knowing about it! Buy it- and even if you hide it from your friends, you'll enjoy this game!
