Electrolux Epic 6500 Canister Cleaner

There was one missing attachment- otherwise good machine in good condition. It was sent in a reasonable period of time and the seller communicated well

After months of searching for a "new" vacuum cleaner it's like getting an old friend back. This unit was purchased to replace a 25 year+ old Electrolux vac. So far, am impressed with the unit's overall performance.

My Electrolux was shipped to me fast.The box wasn't in the best of shape, but the vacuum was in great shape. I hooked the beater brush up first and cleaned my husbands chair,(our dog thinks it hers), and all the hair came off it better then any other vacuum I have ever owned. Light weight, easy to use, lots of extras. I just Love It. I would recomend the Electrolux Epic 6500 to any one who wants a vacuum that they will never need to replace.

Bought one for our downstairs, and one for our daughter to replace the older heavier Electrolux model she had. This model is lighter, but the suction seems to be just as strong as the older more substantial models. I did thoroughly clean and disinfect the canister, hose and power head.
I've used Electrsolux models for 42 years.

This item Electrolux EPIC 6500 (used) was well-priced, and compared to other vacuums I have tested, is an excellent value. Attachments work as they should and there is an accessory for every cleaning job you may want to do. Most of all, it feels much studier than any other vacuum comparably-priced you could buy today. It is an attractive unit, and all accessories fit in the top part of the machine--good forethought and planning by designers. One accessory I am fond of is the "dust brush," which I find helpful around books on bookshelves (I have tons of books). There is a "reminder" light that remains on when the unit is left plugged in and the vacuum cleaner is equipped with a retractible cord. The engine is strong, but doesn't suck the color right off the rug!! I feel that I will have this vacuum around a long time. After I "retire" it from my home, if that day comes, I feel it will still be a great item for our summer condo, or to leave permanently for use in our finished basement.

The product sent which was a used Electrolux was perfect. The seller did an amazing job refurbishing this unit. I am thrilled with the price/quality. I will buy again and highly recommend this seller to my friends and associates.

This was a useful collection of all the accessories for an Electrolux vacuum. These a re the little bits and pieces which sometimes become hard to find.

I bought this because I was looking for vacuums for my sister-in-law. It turned out there was nothing wrong with the one she had, but I have been using an earlier model I bought at a garge sale years ago, so I decided to upgrade. The Electrolux I've used in the past have always been excellent so I felt confident in a newer model. Buying it on ebay meant I saved a bunch of money over buying new. It sure beats dragging the cord around with a heavy upright machine. It's relatively quiet and very easy to use. My old one will go to my second home.

Everything works great and looks great.
But there is a strong odor of what seems to be stale cigarettes that is not going away dispite deodorizing efforts.
All components are affected.
Hopefully will go away with continued use.
But the unit works good!
