Jimi Hendrix's studio albums are absolutely amazing -- it is unfortunate that many do not get to enjoy Hendrix's creative genius at its best.
I would recommend any of his original studio albums highly, and Electric Ladyland is the best. Voodoo Chile and Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) are the best Rock songs ever -- no question about it. Not only do you get the guitar, but also an amazing electric organ overlay.
There are many other favorite songs in this album. On many occasions, I find myself humming along to the tune "Rainy day. Dream away. Let your mind take a holiday...".
