HENDRIX at his BEST!!!

Ok, so this is the last studio album Hendrix ever did, but he did Band of Gypsy's which is a live album and so GOOD, Machine Gun is great and I love the connection between Hendrix, Buddy Miles, and Billy Cox. But back to Lady-land, this is considered by many Hendrix fans as his best album ever and no doubt that this is his most experimental, since a lot of his recordings at Olympic were transferred from a 4 track to an 8 then a 12, that means more room for overdubbing any sounds he wanted and you hear that in songs like 1983, Have you ever been to electric ladyland, I love putting this CD in my car and just letting Jimi take me away from all the pressures of life and you kind of go through this cycle from the first track when the gods made love, and then your floating on a cloud with "have you ever been to electric ladyland" and as soon as your flying high, Hendrix drops you back down into reality with "Crosstown Traffic", A great song, and from that point you go through different elements of Voodoo, Space, Water, Fire, and finally Hendrix leaves you with one of the most known Hendrix songs, Voodoo Chile (slight return), where Hendrix playfully says "I didn't mean to take up all your sweet time, I'll give right back one of these days", these lyrics and guitar playing is the genius of Hendrix at work, and if you love Hendrix then you probably already know everything I said, but if you don't then BUY THIS ALBUM!
