Multi-talented Levon Helm has been making us happy forever. If you're reading this review, you already know you want the album - just do it, no disappointments. This is a genre of music that could stand participation of more big names, but Levon carries the load and brings strong help with him.

I bought this after hearing the song Golden Bird. It is one of my favorite and in my opinion worth buying this CD just for this song.

All children of the 60s and 70s will love this release from the Band's longtime drummer....And for today's kids who want to experience the "Summer of LOve"...buy Electric Dirt !

A good CD!... I like the way Levon Helm is going with his last 2 efforts. Back to the simpler country roots from which came "THE BAND". It's easy listening, catchy & thought provoking. And that's all that I, personaly, can ask from a new outing by such a substantial mainstay in our US music heritage!

I say: "WELL DONE LEVON"!! 5*****'S!! Keep it coming & how bout them other guys? Aside from Richard & Rick of course....For those fans of THE BAND out there who might not know. Richard & Rick are no longer with us. Very sad indeed. Garth is a genious & Robbie bumb..... I highly recomend. "ELECTRIC DIRT" deserves a listen......Mike in Greentown

excellent example of Helm's grass roots music. the entire disc is very good and leaves the listener wanting more! my real reason for buying this record is to understand the passion of mr. helms. why somebody is still making music at his age is a true testament to the man's burning desire to not just shrivel up and fade away. thank you LEVON HELM and may God bless you and yours.
