The material in the book is okay. Fine to read. Sometimes you have to do a little analysis yourself to see what they're talking about. The problems in that book are quite tricky and long. The examples are just easier versions of problems in that book, which tend to combine different concepts together to challenge you.
The PSPICE demo is quite hard to learn to use, and the manual isn't that effective in explaining why you have to do certain things, like include ground sources. It's quite long, and I would rather see a list of component parts and their corresponding symbols on PSPICE. Also, why do we have to create a simulation profile? It's so dumb!
Book does not lie flat like there is water damage. Pages are almost transparent. Very flimsy for a paperback book. Numbers in problems are not the same as other books of the same edition sold in other countries.
Electric circuits was purchased for a class that I am currently taking this semester. The text was exactly what I expected and not a copy, as many people list the copies as international editions. The book it self is well written, however one may want to jump around a bit to understand everything that is written in the book. A solutions manual is a great asset to have in conjunction with this book, due to the fact that not all the answers to the questions can be derived from the examples.
I bought this book because it was required as a text book for my class. I don't like this book by itself, but it would be hard to take the class without it. I am there for commending the seller for providing an affordable price, and a quick delivery. I am satisfied with this book. It came fast and was in good condition.
I go to school in the U.S., and my only complaint is that some of the numbers in the problem section differed from the ones in the American edition. This was annoying when trying to do homework that had to be turned in to my professor. Other than that, the book was identical to the American edition and the listing was accurate.
the book was in fine condition when it arrived and it was mailed pretty quickly. the text itself is required by a college course that i am taking. i bought it to fulfill a requirement. this is the second circuits book that my courses have required of me and i prefer this text over the other. it explains things more clearly and they write better than most college texts.
The pages were still crisp! Other than a small ding on the bottom of the front cover everything seemed to be in perfect condition. Although, I was hoping for it a little sooner than I got it, probably just the pressures of class getting to me though!
