TES III: Morrowind. Only one downfall

I started playing the TES series at the IV installment (Oblivion), My brother went away to college and took the 360 with him. So while hankering for some gaming I realized I still had an original xbox and that games would be real cheap on eBay. So I picked up Morrowind. It's great I love how expansive it is. Definitely way ahead of it's time. That of course is the only problem. Gaming physics had not quite advanced to what they are now. The game is extremely well put together but movement is a little shoddy. Combat is much less fulfilling than in Oblivion because of the physics. It plays like most third person fantasy RPGs where there is no use in attempting to dodge an attack you're better off sitting still and attacking as frequently as possible. Where as in TES IV you can dodge and the hitboxes are fairly advanced and realistic. This of course is only a minor setback, and only in comparison to it's sequal, not other similar games. The story line is amazingly in depth. The cultures are so extreme and varied. It is an infinitely entertaining game with thousands of hours worth of gameplay. It also has some nice abilities that Oblivion does not. Like enchantment and unarmored.
Definitely worth the few dollars paid.
