The Edge (DVD, 1999)

This movie takes place in the foothills of the alaskan wilderness. It is an action based movie, that wll keep you on the edge of your seat all the way through the movie. As a married couple and 3 others friends, embark on a journey to alaska. They find themselves in a fiht for their libes, batteling the elements of nature and a blood thirsty bear. I give this movie five stars, because of its action packed story line and the special effects.

the price was very cheap at $4.44. shipping was also cheap at $3. it was too good of a deal to pass up.

great acting by anthony hopkins and alec baldwin a must have movie great for any collection. a twist at the end but over all a great movie

Because of the place that the story took place in. Is why I watched it and bought it. The story was a little weak but the bear and country is what kept this movie alive the rest was a bit blah.

I find that my interests are "locked in" as I watch this dvd. Very great, heart-touching moments, movie. I really like it.

Although the beginning / set up was a bit confusing, this movie was gripping. I'm not a fan of either Baldwin or Hopkins, but they are both excellent actors. The gaunt crazed look on Baldwin's character's face was intense and very real...gives me goose bumps just mentioning it. The story is about a getting lost in the wild and surviving bear attacks, and then surviving each other. This is 2008, 15 years later and the film is as fresh as if it were made yesterday. I resisted watching it because like many famous celebrity actors, you never really forget its them and not the character. But the conflict with the bears and being subject to the natural elements was just FAB U Lous movie making. Very very worth while watching. Watch it, enjoy it on the EDGE of your seat, then watch it again... If you like the intensity of the movie SPEED this will be right up your alley... A rush. Blessings, Max Rainet.

This movie is amazing. It starts out a little slow but then it starts! Gripping movie about survival! I have watched this movie many times and it still is very good. I bought this to share with friends and family and to rewatch for me.. the movie makes you feel we don't know much about survival and should!.. Very enjoyable movie!

I really like this movie, because it is exciting and it has great outdoor pictures and scenery I have watch this movie that I wore out the 1st one I had.

My wife and I both like Anthony Hopkins, the story is great and so are the actors in it. We shop e-bay for the convienance and the price.
