I must confess that this one took several listens before it started to grow on me. This is not for people with a short attention span who like a two minute pop song. Track 12: Like A Possum, is 18 minutes long. Throughout the album the music could be considered repetitive as it plods along. The lyrics are graphic, sexual, strange and depressing. Sound like a negative review? Not at all. This is Lou Reed at his finest. 5 Stars.

Yes, Lou Reed is not a young artist, this is not a debut album. But for me this is the first album I play. So I have an opinion like I have about a new artist/debut album.
Sorry - respect for the past - but I didn't like this CD very much. Lou Reed repeats the same music and the full work is a little boring.
I only appreciate the song Ecstasy - great interpretation, similar to an actor - but it's not enought to have a positive impressione about all the album.
