Ecoquest Fresh Air Air Purifier

DID YOU PUSH THE RESET BUTTON AFTER YOU CLEANED IT???? YOU NEED TO DO THAT OR IT WILL KEEP SAYING PERFORM CLEANING

I love my Ecoquest Fresh Air Air Purifier! I did have to perform cleaning after the first couple of weeks of operation, then again in about a month, until it finally got all the air and surrounding cleaned. When we opened the doors and windows for a few hours after the outdoor temps fell, I had to perform cleaning again due to dust and pollens getting back into the house. But so what, it cleaned the air for me again. I will not do without it, it's great.

My girlfriend and I both smoke and have pets. A good friend who owns a bar let me try one he had after a state-wide smoking ban went into effect and he didn't feel he needed it anymore. I was impressed since I have tried air purifiers and cleaners before. I wound up buying three of them.... 2 for my house and 1 for my parents (neither one of them smoke). The ion smell from them takes a week or so to get used to, but the performance of these things is great. I can not smell any smoke in the house at all and neither my girlfriend or I have even had the sniffles this year. Cleaning them is a little bit of work, but it's easier than some of the other similar products I've tried thru the years that had electric plates. On a medium setting it draws about 1/2 amp or around the same energy as a 30 watt light bulb. Pretty miserly. The unit also looks nice. Other than the noticable blue light from the ultraviolet light it actually blends in well with about any background you chose to put it in. They recommend placing them higher to be more effective. If you buy a used one you may have some cleaning to do (I cleaned the one from the bar, holy cow!!!). Replacement parts seem pretty easy to obtain on ebay. Overall, I'm glad I bought them.

What I love about the Fresh Air by Ecoquest is that my musty basement that I have been smoking in for 10 years with a exhaust fan running 24 7 I could never get rid of the smell. My wife would complain about it every time she would come down to do the laundry, now there is no smell of any kind anymore and I don't have the exhaust fan running at all now. Its amazing! If you have any type of odor issue you have to have one of these,they work.

Decided to buy this unit after experiencing it at a friend's house. It clears the air well but is small and light enough to fit on a book shelf. It does make noise but along the line of white noise. It also adds a night light in the room where it is used. The air quality change I noticed first was that the house began to smell like a chlorinated swimming pool but the unit comes with a remote to adjust the power up or down to preference. My father noticed it when he was visiting so I ended up buying one for him. I will probably buy one more to use exclusively in a basement.

The best part was buying this product on Ebay where the prices are half what I have found elsewhere and I have had positive experiences with both purchases I have made.

I assume that you have done your research about this product and what it has and how it works. More than anything, it can create a lot of ozone with its corona plates. Exercise caution or you will have too much ozone. I am still tweaking with it. If you need deodorization and disinfection, this is a monster of a performer, just like its predecessors. If you just want constant clean air, keep it on lowwwwww.

Wonderful purifier. works great.Very good price and purifies the air in my home great. we have a lot of animals and this product makes the air fresher in the house.

I smoke , my husband doesn't . But he and guest say they don't smell any ciggerette smoke when they come in our home . Someone even asked me if I quit smoking too . Another great advantage we have noticed , when one of us have a cold the other seldom contracts it , I'm sure its the this air purifier that has made the diffrence . We live on a livestoock farm , our home also use to smell like the batn from our boots and chore coats hanging but not anymore thanks to the EcoQuest Air Purifier .

This seems to do exactly as the manufacturer's description. It was installed and working in a 1069 sq ft house, that hadn't had any sort of air handling system. Was smelling of must and smoke. Professional heat pump installer installed new heat pump system along with this purifier. The house is smelling MUCH better and does not cause the allergic reactions any longer when visiting. Installation was easy, I do not see why the manufacturer requires professional installation. It's simply cut a hole, screw the mount in, place the DuctWoRx in and plug the power cord into the 110v outlet. Simple and easy. Just follow the diagrams and guidelines!

It also sucks that the warranty requires a licensed dealer to sell you this. In my opinion, it's just a way for them to get more money for their product. For 1/3 the price, I could end up buying 3 units on eBay for the cost of 1 from an authorized dealer.

Graet product, I had a trial with this roduct a few years ago but didn't have the money to buy it then. Works great for eliminating odors as well as cutting down on the airborne pollution in the house. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

I used this system on my 20 year old boat. The boat is a natural mold farm. After just one season of using the away cycle all smells are totally gone. For me its a true miracle. My boss sent one to his mom who has a lung problem. The doc's did know how the medical problem started but it has reversed it symtoms for this 80 y/o woman. Can't say enough to endorce this product. The only bad thing is it should go back to the factory for maintence after 1 1/2 years to be upgraded and cleaned. I have recomended the smaller Ecobox to my local EMS ambulance to steralize the cab for germs. Does anyone out there use it for Ambulances?

We like this unit even though this unit is older model. A family member bought theirs brand new and to me they were expensive. We bought this for less than they had a few years later. Still a great unit! It certainly cleans the air.

I own a boarding kennel and over the years have spent a lot of money on bleach and Aire Master to get rid of the odor of dogs and all of the other smells that come along with dogs. A friend of my sisters brought this machine for me to try in my kennel. UNBELIEVABLE! No odor at all, no more bleach or Aire Master. To think of how much money I would have saved over the years with one of these machines. THEN I had the floors stripped and sealed and was worried about getting rid of the smell fast so I could put dogs in that room. That was the true test. The smell was gone in no time. I have bought two of these machines and getting ready to buy a third for my home.

I have 2 cats and 10 minutes after I turned on this Purifier for the first time the liter box smell was completely gone. If you have pets I recommend this product 100%. Runs fairly quite but audible at full fan speed. Works fast and cleans the air nicely in a large space.

I was truly amazed at how well this machine worked. We had a very bad odor in a home that we were moving into. The odor persisted for months. We were unable to find the source, (we still don't know). A friend decided to put an Ecoquest unit in our home while we were away and put it on whatever setting is used for "away." We were very amazed at the humongous difference that it made. The home never smelled that good. I have bought a used unit. Very impressed and obviously would recommend it. You do have to eliminate the source of the odor.
