Economics by Stephen L. Slavin (2008, Paperback)

Easy to read, Slavin takes a humorous approach to introducing economics to students. Chapters are easily laid out and self assessment tests at the ends of each chapter are phenomenal.

I like this book because the author uses plain language and speaks about the concepts in a way that even a person without economics background could understand. There are many references to actual things that have gone on or are going on in the economy. I have never read any other economics texts, so I can't compare it to any other. However, I did find it easy to read and the concepts easy to understand.

I had Basic Economics class at Florida Institute of technology. I didn't use this book that much because of the professor is doing a good job. i looked over the book, it is a pretty good book.
