  Ecco the dolphin
Review created: 07/12/09

The item was shipped in very adequate time. The game was a little harder than expected, but the older kids are figuring it out

Review created: 03/21/08

I remembered playing this game a long time ago on a different game cunsole. The graphics are fabulous on the dreamcast, so is the music. It's a deffinate must have. I bought the game on eBay, because games for the Dreamcast are almost immpossible to find in any store. You have quite a nice selection here, to choose from.

A must have game for the Genesis system
Review created: 03/19/07

Ecco the Dolphin is one the best and the hardest game for the Sega Genesis. You play up to 25 levels in the game.In order to get new abilities you have to rescue other dolphins who are missing in there group. You really have to think in this game because is a puzzle game and that is why this one of the hardest games for the Genesis system. For a 16-bit game it really looks great.I would recommed this game for gamers who think the games they play now are too easy, and for those who have a Sega Genesis system that have not played this game before should buy this game.

  FABULOUS graphics...
Review created: 02/15/07

This is on the Sony Playstation...The first generation Playstation. It has wonderful graphics. The story line is a evil force comes to earth and steals the dolphins and you must save the dolphins and the planet from the evil. It takes you through many acquadic levels to fight the master bad guy in a maze thingy. It is a great game and fairly challenging.

  Beautiful, yet insanely difficult
Review created: 08/03/06
by:

Ecco the Dolphin is a franchise that has never failed to cause its players to rip their hair out in times of impossible puzzles that make them want to take the game out and chuck it across the room. I, myself, have never beaten an Ecco game; my attention span gives out before I get to the end. The game itself, however, is something to truly behold. Out of the 52 Sega Genesis games I own, Ecoo the Dolphin is hands-down the most beautifully done one of all. The scenary looks like something done on a CD game than that of a 16bit cartridge. The controls are well laid out and the gameplay itself is a sinch. The only drawback to this game is its difficulty, which Ecco just happens to be known for. Still, it's a must-buy for any Sega Genesis owner. After all, who doesn't want to save the world with a dolphin?

  Ecco Sega s other Mascot
Review created: 11/08/04
by: Horhay -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
gameplay, music, it's different

Cons:
difficulty, no save points

The story begins with Ecco, the dolphin, and his pod swimming peacefully in the ocean. Once past this warm family scene, the player is thrown into another aquatic environment. The sky is blue, the waves are calm, and numerous dolphins are enjoying the watery life. The player is then left to swim around and do whatever they please. When your acquaintance with the sea is made, your first step is to talk with other dolphins. Ecco is asked to perform some leaps out of the water. Moments later, the screen flashes violently and a hurricane sucks a majority of the sea s residents away. Ecco finds...
