Ebay to the Max Means Maximum Profits For You

Ebay to the Max is good book for beginners and experienced sellers alike. In it Mansfield focuses on what it takes to become a Powerseller, and also on becoming a Trading Assistant, or an eBAY Trading Post.
He gives lots of good examples you can put to use right away. The book also spends a lot of time crunching numbers. And, the numbers are important - because a lot of people sell things on eBAY, and think they are doing just great, because they are selling things. But when you finally get down to it, and examine all of the costs ... the money is not there. And, that I would say is the strength of this book, to try and get you to understand - It's not just eBAY fees. It's listing fees, final value fees, non-selling auction expenses, Paypal fees, image hosting fees, mailing and packing expenses. It's also about buying smartly, and selling only items that have a good chance of selling for a reasonable price. You can run 100 $75.00 auctions, or you can run 1000 $10.00 auctions, and watch the fees mount.
The fact is - This book will make you eBAY savvy, because it will make you think before you list any item. Ask yourself who would buy this item, why would they buy it, and can I expect to make a reasonable profit from it. If not, you should probably pass on selling that item.
Too many items are selling on eBAY everyday, for way less than their costs. Some are offered by sellers hoping to make it big off of 99 cent starting prices. The rest are from sellers dumping stock, and leaving eBAY because they soon discovered they could not make a profit, because everyone else was selling the same item for less.
Would I spend $30.00 for the book? Probably not. But if you can pick it up at the library, or get a cheap copy on eBAY - It will probably help to make you a better seller.
