I bought this book later on in my eBay career and it wasn't much help to me.
BUT, if I were an eBay seller just starting this would be a very good book to start with. It covers the top 100 areas of interest to new sellers, compact and visual, it would help new sellers grasp the most important concepts quickly. This book does not promise that you can make millions overnight on eBay it just presents the facts. I purchased the 3rd edition and it was quite up to date, considering that eBay changes quite frequently.
