Ebay Timesaving Techniques for Dummies is my Ebay Bible. Written by Marsha Collier this reference teaches you everything you need to know to get started selling and buying on Ebay and extra tips for the more advanced user.
For the beginning user she gets into the best times and days to run auctions and the best length. She also provides military time charts which Ebay uses. A particular high point for me was how to track trends on and off Ebay example buzz.yahoo.com
When I was starting out, her tips on feedback and the various follow up emails to customers helped me to be a much better Ebayer and seller. She also provides great tips on PayPal, such as software that calculates fees for you such as (feefinder.com) and tips for using Quickbooks to keep your books straight.
My favorite tip of all dealt with how to opt out of companies that trace you with cookies all over the net such as Mediaplex and Doubleclick. I did it and it worked! My Adaware software detected a lot less cookies after opting out. I could go on and on about all the good info in this book, but I think you all got it. A+++ Marsha!

Excellent, concise easy to use guide whether a seller or a buyer! Just can't believe the enormous amount of helpful tips in this book!

From buying to selling to leaving feedback, this book has tons of valuable time-saving techniques. With nearly 300 pages of detailed information, I have found a wealth of information on the time saving tools that are available. This book is very helpful for anybody who uses ebay. It is a must-have for every powerseller! Some of the techniques are outdated, fortunately this book has a website with more current information. That aside, there are tips hear that SAVE ME HOURS!
If only I had bought this years ago...all the time I could have saved...all the lessons I had to learn the hard way...!

I have never yet sold on ebay. I bot this book for 1 cent on ebay, thinking it was a steal for the $4 s/h. The very first page I turned to showed me, a novice, how woefully out of date it was. Inaccurate and downright wrong in this ebay day and age. The info was stellar at one time no doubt. Save your money and buy the newest edition of this series.
