eBay for Dummies by Marsha Collier (2006, Paperback)

Sometimes it is easy to start reading something and loose interst because the book becomes boring or humdrum but Ebay for Dummies by Marsha Collier is a big exception to this rule. This book was thououghly informative and it helped me launch my ebay career with great success. Thanks for a great book Mrs. Collier and I will be spreading the word.

This book has so much valuable information about eBay that checking it out of a library would be a waste of time -- it has to be bought. Because if you just tried to take notes on the most important information, you would wind up writing the book all over again.

This book has virtually everything you need to become a member of eBay, how to buy and sell on it, how to do research, and how to handle the most common problems. I have not seen another book with this many facts and figures, or as much advice and practical knowledge as this one. There is even a website for updates and even more tips on the ins and outs of eBay.

eBay for Dummies is book you need to read, highlight like crazy, and keep by your computer 24/7. It's that good.

I THINK ALL THE "FOR DUMMIES" BOOKS ARE PRETTY WELL DONE. THEY USE HUMOR TO HOLD YOUR ATTENTION. THIS BOOK IS ESPECIALLY GOOD FOR BEGINNERS I THINK. I'VE BEEN DOING THIS AWHILE BUT I ALSO READ SOME TIPS AND IDEAS I HADN'T THOUGHT OF OR HAD THOUGHT OF IN A DIFFERENT WAY. I'M ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD IDEAS. THIS BOOK HAS SOME.

I would not want to be Marsha Collier or her editor. I don't know how many revised editions are out there, but they will continue. Change is perpetual. That being said, this book is what got me started on ebay. It's incredibly easy to understand (henceforth "For Dummies"). Even the most technically handicapped person should get along fine. My only gripe is that Collier is sometimes a bit repetitive, but dummies need repetition... Anyone who is the least bit interested in eBay--be it in buying or selling--should start here. Don't just hop on eBay and start clicking. There are a few fundamental wisdoms to be learned first, like how not to get negative feedback. Ms. Collier thinks of everything here! She even gives you ideas on where to get merchandise! I want you to realize that ANYONE can be an eBayer, regardless of your computer knowledge! Let Marsha show you how and soon you may wish to open your own eBay store or selling site! You won't be sorry!

great book from great people.lots of information to get you started selling on ebay.i bought the book because i needed to learn how to set up selling on ebay.i will recommend this book to my friends.

This book is easy to understand and answers questions you have or will have eventually. I've been hesitant to start selling on eBay because it's seems a little intimidating. This author walks you thru the process and takes the fear out of it. Good companion for eBay addicts!

My hope is to make extra cash on eBay. This book is a great way to get started. Whenever I am not sure about something on eBay, I open up my Dummies book and get the answer.

This book is written in actual English as opposed to internet "speak". I'm finding tid bits that are really helpful. Ebay is a huge thing to get the hang of, especially for selling, to have the book at my side I can handle bumps along the way. I'm very glad I bought this book.

This book is the bible in the ebay world. It tells you everything you need to know in the selling and buying catagory. A must have I highly recommend!!!!!

i needed to learn about ebay and this book has made it fairly easy to figure out if you combine the customer support services offered by ebay and this book you should have no problem.
not to mention that i saved $12.00 dollars by buying the book on e-bay.

ebay is one of the stupidest and greediest auction website i know of, they won't even accept google checkout, for its sellers to pay so much the should at least be able to dictate how much profit they should be able to get. stupid ebay and paypal...

with a lot of helpful hints. eBay provides excellent instruction for buying/selling etc. This manual follows that up with well written, often humerous tidbits for beating the competion etc. Make sure that you acquire the latest edition to ensure most up to date info. Good, easy reference.
