Great book! It's layed-out nicely in parts for the different blood types and what those people can and shouldn't eat. The whole concept is around "lutens." If you can get rid of eating those foods that have lutens and that inhibit the body's own insulin production you can shed pounds in weeks...not months. I sat around and ate only those foods "beneficial" to my diet and metabolism and I lost 40lbs in 4 months...from a chubby 260lbs I went down to a svelt 220lbs....I did not even entertain exorcising or moving about much.....you'll have to at least read it to get the concept. And if you are leaning towards getting diabetic then this book is for you....you can lessen the body's ability to hold onto and store starches. Plus you can do a cheater's diet where you allow 75% of the diet foods onto your plate but you have a burger here or potato chips there for a treat.......and still lose pounds....just much slower.....overall this book is not a waste of time and now my mom and I are going to investigate doing the diet together....we both have a rotund mid section right about now that could use some down-sizing!
