Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert (2007)
I was enthralled with the idea that a successful business woman would step away from it all to go on a 1-year long journey. Turns out, the work she was doing on herself was also research for the book that she had been partially paid in advance. Nonetheless, it was a great read! The author is insightful, a survivor and interesting. She deserves all the kudos she received from Oprah. There are many passages in the book in which anyone would benefit. Highly recommend!
