Excellent foreign movie. The seller shipped the article on time, but the post mail service had some troubles and delivered the movie some days after I expected.

I bought this movie for a class on chinese culture. It was good movie except for the fact it was all in subtitles. There were so many food dishes shown it made me hungry.

Eat Drink Man Woman is a wonderful film which takes its audience through the lives a widowed Chinese chef and his three daughters and how they each come into their own. By watching this film, viewer will see how age old traditions and the modern world is colliding through Chinese cuisine and the pressures of daily life. I personally love this movie because of its moving stories and I can connect with the charters' choices and how they deal with their consequences. It is a movie that many people can appreciate and each time it is viewed one will always find something that they had not noticed before.

  wonderful movie

Some of you may be familiar with Tortilla Soup, a widow father who is a incredible chef with three grown daughters and his relationship with them. Well this movie is the original story that inspired that remake, of Tortilla Soup which is about a Mexican-American family in LA instead. In this original version it takes place in China and the father is an incredible Chinese chef...the only difference is that this one has English subtitles because the dialogue is in Chinese. But the story is simple and wonderful so it's not that hard to follow even if you have to bounce your eyeballs back and forth reading and looking at he movie. I think they could have added English voice overs and it wouldn't really hurt the movie. Never the less this is a wonderful movie and I highly recommend it.
