Not Just a Book Title; A Way of Life

Don't Save the Best for Last! I had a bout with serious illness 5 years ago, and since I recovered, I have tried to do the things I really wanted to: because you never know what tomorrow will bring. Enough seriousness! I really do like dessert the best and I think eating it first is a terrific idea! Give me a sandwich or salad, and I'll be happy, as long as there's a great dessert afterward. I liked the variety of the recipes, and the tantalizing pictures. I haven't tried any yet, but I won't wait much longer to do so. Some of them seem pretty uncomplicated and they all look and sound delicious. My finished products probably won't look much like the pictures, but they will, I'm sure, be delicious. There is a good variety of desserts, from the cookies and candies for nibbling to the gorgeous masterpieces befitting a fine dinner table. I bought the book because I already had another Red Hat Society regular cookbook and was impressed with it. My favorite cookbooks are generally those with recipes contributed by regular people, because they are usually easier for me to follow and place more emphasis on taste than presentation. The only way I can think of to improve it would be including samples!
