What an informative and fun book! It's too bad it is out of print.
This book has all of Carol's trademarks including patterns, templates to copy, easy to follow instructions and great photographs.
For those of you who are new to paper piecing, please consider using Carol Doak's foundation piecing paper to go along with the book. It's wonderful!

I really enjoy quilting and am addicted to paper piecing. It allows you to be very exact. This is the only book I have been able to find that has patterns small enough to meet state fair guidelines for miniature quilts. The directions are clear and the patterns are varied, from Amish, to traditional,to designs of hearts, trees, and houses. I want to make almost every one of the approximately eighteen patterns. I had checked a copy out of the library and decided that it was a book I needed to own. It is one of a kind.
