Early Edition - The First Season (DVD, 2008)

It is a light movie with no swearing or nudity. A movie you can watch and then go to sleep without nightmares.

I have been looking for Early Edition on DVD for a few years now. After having trouble with some imported companies, the US decided to release it. I am so excited. This show was a ground breaking. There was nothing like it at the time. And I think the best part of it is family friendly, not many shows today can say that. I can't wait till the other seasons of Early Edition are out on DVD. I want the whole set.

Great chemistry between the characters on this television series Early Edition. What would you do if you got tomorrows news today? What events would you try to change? What would you do to prevent a tragic death from taking place? That's what Gary Hobson (Kyle Chandler) has to decide everyday when the paper arrives along with an orange cat. Kyle Chandler played in the short lived t.v. series Homefront based on servicemen returning home after WWII and most recently on Friday Night Lights.
I wanted to buy the series as soon as I knew it was being released onto dvd. I found a good deal on ebay and couldn't pass it up. Even with shipping cost it was cheaper then purchasing online at Columbia House DVD Club and in local/area stores.
This television series will provide many hours of viewing enjoyment for the entire family. Can't wait to grab a bag of popcorn and other snacks to watch it with the family tonight.

This show is fun, unique, and family-friendly! My husband remembered it from when he was a teenager and was curious to see it again. It was definately worth the price we paid.

Me and my father used to watch it when it would premier on television. We loved it then, and still to this day love it now. It is an excellent show.

Its about a man who finds this cat. The cat brings him a newspaper that is one day ahead of him. He finds horrible things and with every amount of power in his body, tries to stop them.

Excellent series. If I could find Season 2 I'd buy! :)

I enjoy anything with no violence and bad language. It is very improbable that the situation could be real but it is nice to get lost in unreality in this times.

miss watching this show on Sunday nights. Good family show. We need more shows like this brought back to prime time television

We like the tv show. Would like to see more seasons come out for this show. Do you have any more of the seasons. My husband wants more of this show. Received it in the mail when promised.

I loved this show - but was surprised about the lack of bonus features on the DVD.
There was no interview with the show's creators or the show's stars.
I hope Season 2,3,and 4 will have more to offer.

I loved the show when it was on TV. It is great because it does not have commercials and is the entire first season on several dvds.

I orded this Item because I remembered this program from TV many years ago, but have not been able to find reruns for many years, now I can watch it whenever I want and it's just as good as the first time I watched them!
