Movie Description When Earl Scruggs parted ways with guitarist Lester Flatt in 1969, the banjo virtuoso not only opted for a more contemporary bluegrass sound than the traditional-minded Flatt, but frequently collaborated with vanguard musicians in the rock, folk, and country genres. This release captures the bluegrass legend performing with the Byrds, Joan Baez, and Bob Dylan, as well as traditionalists Doc Watson, the Morris Brothers, and, of course, Bill Monroe.
