ESP lTD EC-1000FM, One of the Best Guitar Deals Going!

Without a doubt in my mind the ESP LTD EC-1000FM Amber Sunburst with Seymore Duncan JB/59's is one of the best deals going in the guitar world today. The hardware that comes on this guitar is top notch; Seymour Duncans, ESP locking tuners, Tonepros locking bridge and tail, Earvana Compensated Nut, 24 XJ frets, set neck, rosewood fingerboard, mahogany body, flame maple top, thin U neck and superb Abalone edge binding inlays all around as well as flag inlays on the fingerboard. All that combined would cost many times more than you can find them on eBay. I tried out quite a few guitars to find the right one for me and this one was it. It's about half the weight of a Gibson Les Paul and has a better finish quality on it than most new Gibson's as well and at a price so low it was actually within my very limited budget. The true beauty of this guitar is that it can handle any playing style you throw at it and it looks like it belongs anywhere while doing so. For me it's one of those guitars that just feels so right that it inspires me to play 10 times better every time I pick it up. It's so comfortable that within an hour I knew it fit me perfectly, 6-12 hours playing a day and no fatigue anywhere on my body except my fingertips. Now that's the way a guitar should behave!

So it was made in Korea but right now Korea's the building some of the finest guitars for those of us who can't afford the big brand names and want a rock solid player's guitar that looks fantastic. And the thing was setup dead on right out of the box. The action was setup a touch high but is absolutely perfect for slide guitar and with the Jumbo frets it still plays like a speed demon, this so far is the only guitar that I've come across that can pull this off without any problems whatsoever. I don't need a dedicated slide guitar with this beauty, YES!

ESP LTD - EC1000 Amber Sunburst

I was looking for a Les Paul styled single-cut but didnt want to spend 2k on an original. The other variations of this model have active pickups but I specifically wanted the passive Seymour Duncans. Perfect for that classic rock sound. Slim body and light weight. Workmanship is better than expected. Extra jumbo frets take a little getting used to but are fine. Absolutely no complaints about this guitar. I bought mine used ($550) but even at full price it's worth it.
