Description
Not a port of the disastrous Atari 2600 game, this version of E.T. boasted advanced 8-bit graphics and revolutionary voice sample technology that said, "E.T. Phone Home!" The game had you playing as Elliot, collecting pieces of the homing device with only the an indicator of E.T.'s heart to guide you hot-or-cold to the hidden pieces (while scientists try to nab you and take your gear), plus a section where E.T. must avoid scientists to reach his shuttle to return home. 9 difficulty levels are included, with various challenges to vary the action (harder levels of the game, for instance, will sometimes give dummy parts to Elliot to set him back.)
