Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 PS2

I have a friend who is a big Gundam fan and plays this game all the time. While not the biggest Gundam fan myself I was intrigued enough to give the game a try. I like the graphics and the action is pretty good as are the sound effects. The voice acting can be really bad but at least fits the character of the anime.
There's a ton of content here. Official mode, Story mode, lots of pilots and scores of Gundams to build and upgrade. The basic action of "kill lots of gundams, fight a named pilot or giant gundam, win the battle" doesnt change much but the differences in the pilots and the handling of the actual gundams themselves are so different that even a casual fan like me could have a pretty good time with this game.

and it does but at sacrificing other things from the first ie the made for the game story mode. The original mode is lacking the array of characters you once had as well. Bu they did add a unique story system that brought in a element that the gundam series always had, friend/allies and enemies. Depending on what you do and who you fight you can gain access to certain battles that allow access to parts to upgrade your gundam, you also have to gain a license for any gundam you want to pilot that your character didnt pilot. They have added super sized gundams and other things as well. Over all a fun game to play but you must be a fan of either dynasty warriors or gundam to really enjoy this. You might like it if you never played before but it helps to be a fan.

Tons of gameplay timeTo be honest, I never was a huge fan of the Dynasty Warriors titles but since I played DW: Gundam I have had a hard time turning off the PS3. This series is worh the money and has a ton of gameplay value. The cut secens look nice and the gfx's look great on a tv that can produce 1080p. The only drawback of the game is the dialogue; it sucks and they need better lines. Also, some of the voice actors should never be used again to play some of the voices.

Gundam fans and more!The game is a tough find at my local retailers and it's fun for any gundam or dynasty warriors fan! If you like the Dynasty Warriors series and the Gundam anime series then your going to love playing this game. If not then I would say stay away and play something else because your going to get real bored.

For all those who just like to press buttons when it comes to fighting games, the dynasty warrior franchise has the market cornered on this section. I have always have problems either doing the proper sequence or timing when it comes to fighting games with combos of buttons or direction pad, thus happy to play this type of Gundam fighting games. Graphics are very good, along with the game play. I have the 1st Dynasty Warriors Gundam, but in Japanese, thus, it's a whole different experience for me to actually understand and be able to read everything that's happening during gameplay.
Anyways, I recommend the game for the shear fact that it'll keep you entertained for hours upon hours. You get the options of playing either mission mode or follow closely to the anime series based upon the character you pick. There's also vs. battle mode and other things that I have not fully explored.

) This game is much like the rest of the dynasty warrior’s games but with no lag.
It is much better then the first one but is still lacking on the choice of new gundams.
There are lots of different types of Gundams to choose from ranging from the Freedom, Destiny, Justice, and Wing Zero to MK11, Burning Gundam and even the Ball Type.
Official mode is set up like any other dynasty warrior’s game but mission mode is completely different. In order to use different gundams one must obtain enough parts for the desired mech. As well as maintaining friendship with other characters. It is easy to make enemies since the game allows you to kill almost everyone.
Deadlocks are now set up like God of war. one must hit the right button combo.
I think this is a good game to buy. For me this has lots of replay value since there is a lot to accomplish.
For any fan of this series it is a must have. But regular gamers might want to wait until the price goes down a little.
