Dying to Say This to You [PA] by Sounds (Rock) (The) (CD, Mar-2006, New Line Records)

Bought it because I heard one song and liked it, after getting the CD all the song are good. It was hard to find because it is a new band from different country but I found it on EBay. It was a great price and received it fast. I tried different sources to get it but the easiest and less expensive way was EBay

I enjoyed listing to The Sounds' first album "Living in America". This follow-up album is just as good as the first. The music is very reminiscent of '80s punk/new wave with the electronica sounds and hard rock beats and flowing lyrics. It's very retro/fun sounding and quite refreshing against today's contemporary music.

Like most people. I first heard this bands music on the Geico cave man commercial. When I first heard. Don't want to hurt you. I thought it was a band from the eighties that my old ass some how missed. Nope! Weird to hear new old style stuff. Sounds like a blend of new wave bands. I hear influences from Missing persons,Blondie and Berlin. Not as polished though. The Sounds are a Swedish New Wave band founded in 1999 in Helsingborg. Not rocket science. Just fun careless 80's music. Catchy stuff...
