From Dusk Till Dawn (DVD, 2000, Special Edition 2-Disc Set)

If you love vampire movies, then this film should be at the top of your list. This is George Clooney's break-out film, and he shows some good acting chops.

Directed by Paul Rodriguez who directed Desperado and El Mariachi, and co-staring Quentin Tarintino and Harvey Cartel, this film will definitely keep you cheering at your screen.

Don't forget the chips and salsa.

This movie is great! It is one of those dark comedy/horror, like the Evil Dead series, for example. Harvey Kietel is almost unrecognizable, Tarantino plays a most disturbed man, and Klooney is just plain cool as a bad-ass. Not a "serious" movie, but a ton of fun. Cheech Marin plays several parts, funny stuff.
Strong language, but to be honest the movie would stink without the "F-bomb" due to the characters. Not for the kiddies, though it's not super gorey, special effects are very cool.

What else can i say but this movie rockS!!!!!!!

I very much enjoyed this movie, either way as a crime drama or a horror movie both parts were excellant. When in the bar and the girl turns into a vampire was just amazing. Up untill that point I thought it was great as a blood soaked crime drama. Tarintinos the best.

I love this movie!!!! its a classic!!!! george clooney is soooo hot in this!!!! and Juliette Lewis rocks!! Salma Hayek is in her prime!!!!!!Harvey Keitel plays a great role for him!!! the faithless preacher!!!!! and Quintin Tarantino.....well, lets just say the role of demented brother Ritchie.......He plays perfectly.....:) This is Definatly on my DVD library list.....but it is NOT for kids.....to much adult content, like most Quintin Tarantino movies.....;) If you love vampire movies like me....this is a MUST HAVE!!!!!!!!

Plays great. Virtually no scratches. A movie with an epic battle against the undead & a truly spectacular display of special effects.

This movie keeps it down and dirty, the evilness that is of the blood suckers, the heroic of the rebellions. George Clooney is gorgeos and Salma Hayek is on fire. I had to have it.

I love Tarentino movies (Pulp Fiction) and this one is just as good. Gets a bit crazy with the vampires but all in all its a added addition to anyones DVD collection.

Ijole :o ! I'd forgotten how much fun this flick is. And oooh, Salma! I had just remembered that Salma gives Quentin a mouthful of toes. This was a 2 DVD set, and there's great extra stuff, like how controversial it was to make, being non-union and stuff. The people behind the scenes are actually somewhat interesting, too. "Full Tilt Boogie" I think is the title of the making of the movie, and other stuff they talk about. The effects are pretty neat, and I like the use of the real snake. It's extremely enjoyable- Glad I won this one :).

This is a cool vampire movie. I had it once and someone borrowed it and didn't bring it back. And George Clooney plays the part well.

It is a good movie back the day but know a days it is an average movie because film makes started to copy the consept of it but it is still a good movie to have in any collection.

This movie makes you wonder if Quentin Tarantino should be walking around free with the rest of us or locked up somewhere undergoing treatment for what has to be a seriously troubled mind, possibly electro-shock. But on the up side this movie, although dark, it is very entertaining. Which forces one to consider the question, is it Quentin Tarantino that needs therapy for making this movie, or us for being entertained by it?

this is a good vampire film. for the older folks. definitely not for children. there is alot of violence and cursing in it, and some nudity.

Awesome, fun, energetic. From the opening on this movie action packed and alot of fun. Just when you think this movie isn't going anywhere, BOOM!. It's like two movies in one. This movie is definitely one of my all time favorites. It's got everything, including Cheech Marin! Seen it a hundred times or more.

Honestly, I bought this movie for the Salma Hayek scene. But after seeing it all, it wasnt half bad, kinda weird, but what else can you expect from Tarantino?

THEY HAVENT REALLY MADE THAT MANY GOOD VAMPIRE MOVIES THIS ONE WAS KINDA GOREY AND KINDA SCARY IT WAS A GOOD MOVIE AND THE ACTORS WERE AWESOME

If you are a Tarantino fan, this is a must-have. Very funny, witty, vulgar, and gory all at the same time. This is entertainment at its best!
