Durabrand offers a DVD player that plays MP3, all DVD-R, DVD+R formats, progressive scan and has all the needed jacks on the back to make this a great DVD player for use with standard or HDTV's. Its cheap, it looks better than others such as the Magnavox $30 DVD player on the market and they last a very long time. If you copy DVD's a lot this makes a great DVD player to connect to your DVD Recorder because of the high quality projection it has. The rear rotary receptical and intake manifold that work in conjunction with the complex crotactaginal valves are unlike any other machine on the market. These high grade components are far superior to even DVD players costing $1000 or more. The vortex stibobulator produces a TS4 rating of more 16 variables in not only one (like many DVD players) but 3 ranges. It does lack some complex features that some other DVD players have though. It isn't an upconverter and it doesn't record DVD's but it does offer huge benefits crammed into one durable player.

MY WIFE REALLY LOVES IT NOW SHE CAN WATCH MOVIES MY SON DOWNLOADS AND BURNS FOR HIS COMPUTER,WHILE SHE READS HER MICROSOFT READER IN HER COMPUTER ROOM.I GOT IT FOR HER BECAUSE IT WAS CAPABLE OF DOING JUST THAT. IT HAS FEATURES I DIDN`T EVEN REALIZE IT HAD,LIKE ZOOM WHICH SHE REALLY LOVES CAUSE SHE CAN PUT IT TO FULL SCREEN INSTEAD OF THE WIDE SCREEN THAT IS ORIGINALLY ON THE DVD. This unit does everything I expected from it. At a great price. Factory refurbished back to new condition and not even a scratch. All manuals included and packed very well. I highly recommend refurbished products from this company...even has a warinty!

If you're looking for an inexpensive, compact DVD player that will also play mp3 disks and CDs this may be the one for you. Keep in mind, that sometimes you get what you pay for. Player does exhibit some quirks from time to time. Screen will freeze for a moment or two and then continue, disc may skip or not be recognized by player. One DVD, the sound track and the video track were off by a second or so. These flaws were on different discs, discs that played fine on another unit. Other DVDs (most) played with no problem at all. Would perhaps not recommend as a household's main DVD player. Ideal, for hooking up to smaller tv (in the kitchen, bedroom, etc.). Comes with remote.

The one I got isn't working.It's very cheap looking and makes way too much noise. I thought it would be okay for the children to use wouldn't be too much of a loss if they broke it. I think only thing wrong is one of the cables might be bad but don't know?

Remote isn't sensitive (have to be real close to player) & is hard to use even if close up. The rewind/fast forward set up is not what you would expect for a dvd player. I bought it because of the low price, but I guess you get what you pay for!!

Arrived quickly, as advertised. Nice, compact model in near new condition. Great value.We are going to use it as a gift to an older relative and it should be easy to connect and use. Just the right item at a great price. It was packed well in the original box with all the assessories included. Very happy with the purchase.

I had another one of these players that lasted two years and finally gave up the ghost. I liked the player so much I went in search of another one just like it. I was disappointed to find out walmart didn't sell the player anymore. It has excellent picture quality (progresive scan HD) and supports dolby digital 5.1 through a coaxial digital output. Fantastic player, especially for the price.

I bought it because I needed something for entertainment for the kids when we travel. I like this product, however I don't think it is one of the best. It was worth what I paid for it, but I wouldn't of spent any more for it. If it were a little higher in price, I would of bought a better one. This did come with everything, so overall we are satisfied.

Although the price for this player was unbeatable, it brings to mind that saying that you get what you pay for. A few days after I bought it, a recall was issued for it because of cases of it starting a fire when left on. Still sitting in the original box unused.

I like the DVD Player because of it's size. Everything is downsize these days, and space seems to be of a premium. That's why it is nice that this DVD player is half the size of the last one I owned. It arrived in good shape and works beautifully. I like the remote that came with it.

PIECE OF GARBAGEOn delivery it didn't work. Seller would not respond to my emails so I threw it in the garbage where it belonged before it was sent to me. Only $30. and a cheap lesson learned. NEVER EVER purchase something that has been refurbished. I am just happy it wasn't something that cost a lot more. Remember 1 thing, you get what you pay for.

I bought this for my 3 year olds room because I didn't want to sink alot of money into something that was going into a toddlers room. So far, it seems very durable and easy to use. I'm extremely happy I caught it on ebays daily deal. The price was definitely the deciding factor. I got a really good deal and I love the product.

I operate a tax preparation service and am always looking for premium items as giveaways or rewards for bringing in new clients. Here was a DVD player for $15. A terrific bargain. It's small - not obtrusive. It works great (we kept one for the office). There is nothing to dislike. I would definitely recommend it for general use as well as a promotional item.
