I received the PSP for Christmas from my wife, and this was one of the first games I bought. Out of a half dozen games I now own, it has been one of my favorites. Its a quest style game where you can choose from three different characters. I chose Mogrim the Half-Giant Warlord, which is basically a hack and slash type of character with a few kill'em style Mana abilities. The other choices for characters is a Battle Mage, and an Elven Shadow Stalker. The game consists of different quests, these can be finished in a couple hours each, or shorter. I did a little cheating when I ran through the game, I found an online manual by another player that had played through the game already and it helped me quite a bit (it kept me from getting stuck, but probably shortened my length of game play). I finished the game in probably 20 hours (2 days, lol). Even though it is a hack and slash style game it isn't over violent in my opinion.

After completing the initial quest, the game goes into an Elite Mode. This allows you to replay the quest (20 hours or more worth) with the same character. At these higher levels all the monsters increase and you enter another level of play. I didn't think I would be interested in running through the same quests, but I've found myself playing through the game enjoying it. So the playability value is kind of high in my opinion.

I hope this helps you in deciding to make you purchase. I think its a great game.... I like the style of games that allow your characters powers to build.

If you're a fan of the Untold Legends games, then you'll already be familiar with this game and probably won't mind some of its flaws. This game does have its fair share of long load times like some other PSP games. You are able to bring along a "pet" on your single player journey and its not always an animal or creature. These pets or comapanions also level up and you do plus you can choose what skills they use. You can choose from up to three main characters and get charged with quest after quest. I personally lost interest in this game maybe because of the long load times or some of the quests and battles were just not very interesting. If you do get yourself outnumbered in battle, you may find yourself back at the beginning of the particular level you started. This game is not for everyone but it's worth a rent if you're curious.

I love this game for this primary reason: you can like up your psp with others, and play together as a group. the graphics aren't bad, and neither is the story line, (which I guess isn't really that importaint for a hack/ slash game, but it helps) Over all I think this game would be fun for anyone who enjoys role playing games. Personally I think this game ranks up there with " Untold legands", but you be the judge.......

This game for psp has its ups and downs......mostly ups :)

Pros- This game is the most graphically appealing game I have seen for the PSP. It amazed me when I started playing. There are 3 people to choose from which is less than the pc versions buit come on, It Dungeon Siege on a PSP! Now 3 sounds like few characters but each character has their own specialized skill sets and their own story plot. Its map is ginormous and has hours upon hours of play. The music is matched up really well with most of the levels. Controls are smooth but you have to learn more button combos in this game then most "average" PSP games. Alas though, this game is not average and is awesome. The story is basic but I won't go into detail.(don't want to spoil it) You find all sorts of armor, weaponry, magical items, and trinkets to keep you constantly upgrading unless of course you find all the best stuff. It has online capabilities but hardly anyone is ever on because the game has a few years on it. The game is still very fun by itself.

Cons- There are only 2 cons I can think of....... The loading times and sometimes the camera. With the loading, Its only bad when you go out onto the "world" to go to a specified area. Also the load to get to the specified area is long. It never loads in the middle of a level though which is really all that matters. The thing I have to say about the camera is sometimes I wish I could control it. It is a well done auto camera but I would like to be able to rotate it...... O well

P.S. This is a hack and slash but it has many moves, mercenaries, custom abilities, and enemies to keep anyone entertained. Also this is not a game you play 10 minutes at a time. You got to play about 30 minutes at the least to get anything done.

Gamers Rating: 10/10 The cons aren't that bad and this is the best game I own on PSP!

THIS IS MY FIRST REVIEW SO DON'T BE TO HARSH (>'o')> (That's Kirby)

It's hard to find good role playing games for the PSP so Dungeon Siege is a refreshing change. A good story line and lots of exploration and quests. My only complaint is you pick up far too much stuff while adventuring and a lot of time is spent switching armour, weapons and gear. Other than that, a great game for true fans of role playing games.

IF you've ever played dungeon siege or diablo you'll enjoy this game. It doesn't go as in depth or have as many characters as the computer versions but it's still enjoyable. The main reason I gave it a 4 star rather than 5 is that it's a pretty easy game, not too difficult to beat.

IF YOU LOVE DIABLO YOU WILL LOVE THIS!

Pros:

The game play is almost identical to the Diablo series. Choose from a number of different character classes. Explore vast worlds, destroy monsters, take there loot and gain experience points. This not as bloody as Diablo so it is suitable for most age groups.

Cons:

I don't recommend this game to adults, it would have been more enjoyable if there was more gore and not such cartoon like graphics. But if you don't enjoy gore then this game is for you.

I bought this game recently for my PSP. I love RPG games and had never played this one before. I thought it was pretty good. It is very similiar to the PSP games Untold Legends, but not as good. The first time I got it I played it for several hours straight! I am actually stuck in an area right now, which is my biggest complaint right now.

I have played this game and it was really fun. It did have too quick of an ending tho. After the thrown was destroyed the game ended. That was sucked. My friend and I went through and double teamed it. I bought it because I do like RPG type games.
Good game!!!

I played the first 2 and was worried about translating that to a portable console. It was done very well. Took me 2 months to beat the game and has plenty to do.

if you played and liked the first two dungeon sieges i recomend this game because it sticks to the same idea of the first two. also this is a generally quick game so if you do not have the money do not collect change to buy this game because it is not worth it.I beat this game in less than a week but i have played almost every rpg in america so i have become good but this game could probably hold your attention for about a month untill elder scrolls comes out

  Great Game

Friend had game and raved about it. Bought this one after borrowing friend's copy - Love this games. Plenty of "missions" - the creatures/opponents are varied and do not become repetitive. Would like to be able to use more than one companion at a time, however that does not retract from the pleasure of the game. Hours of fun!

  Dungeon Seige:Throne of Agony
Review created: 08/11/08

This is a must have game for your PSP collection (this is my first time playing a Dungeon Siege game).I only have five minor problem's.One is the character's.I did'nt personaly like the three that you can choose from (I suffer from OCD and get annoyed over stupid little thing's when it come's to character's).They are a Mage,Barbarian and a female I think she was a rogue or thief.I usally choose the barbarian class but I was'nt happy with his look and chose the Mage (he has the best skill's/magic in my point of view). Two you get the ability to choose from two type's of familiar's (depending on who you choose). They all look really cool but you can't equip any armor or item's well pretty much anything on them.I understand the animal type's not having weapon's but you should be able to at least put armor on them. For human familiar's you should be able to put both weapon's and armor or to just even it out just weapon's but you can't.Three you have to pay to equip your familiar's stat point's (they raise in price the higher they get).Four the world map and teleporter's take forever to load (note only these two thing's take long everything else load's fast). The last in your very limited in how much you can carry. This depend's on your strength.I think every five point's equal's one item. Now here's the good. The story well each character has their own story and I viewed all three and are very good and interesting. The graphic's are very good by far at the top my list with the best. The speed and tone of the action is really great.Ton's and ton's of hack and slash fun. This game is worth your hard earned money.

  Not a bad game....
Review created: 10/06/07

Classic button masher with a little stratgy throw in. Good for a few hours of mindless play. Short however. I finished in about 15 - 20 hours. Very nice graphics. Voice acting okay. The ending is a bit brief and disappointing.
Easily defeat the end boss and the game ends almost before you know it. You can replay as a stronger character, but simply starting the same exact beginning to end quest with higher abilities, against stronger foes. So replay value does not exist. Overall, recommended for those with strong thumbs and time to kill.
