Myself being a Mason I was very pleased with this book. My Grandfather was a Mason and I remember reading his copy years ago. Great information for those in and out of the Craft.

This is book gives you the most accurate information any book I know of, about the lodge proceedings.
It is realistic and depending what lodge you may be from it will differ in some of the language.
This book alone will not get you into lodge, you will have to ask12b1, in other words you can know the book language but unless you petition the lodge and go thru the degrees I strongly discourage anyone to try and enter a lodge clandestine, you will be challenged.

) The book is laid out nicely, actually in order the degrees of Freemasonry are applied, easy to understand and concise. The book is softcover but in very good condition. I bought it because I needed a manual for the York Rite rituals. Recommend this book to anyone interested in this topic.

) Looked everywhere for help with learning my catacisms, and found no help in any. I found another Mason whom had been one for thirty years and he tod me to buy this one. It covers all thee degrees listed and more, although it was written back in the 1800's, they have inserted things that could and might not be used in all types of Lodges. Some lines are missing so you wont get it 100%, but if you read the Rituals you can pretty much pick it up.
I would recommend this book to every Mason, not just new Masons. It's the perfect companion and not that expensive. I think I paid 14.95 at Barns and Noble.
