Dumbo (DVD, 2006, Big Top Edition - Special Edition DVD)

Over the past ten years I have slowly watched this unprecedented influx of unauthorized Disney products mainly out of print and vaulted Disney dvds.
This has happened because of the large amount of money that can be made on the fakes. I receive emails everyday trying to sell me cheap Disney imports for between $4.25 and $5.85 a copy. When they will bring upwards of $40.00 to $100.00 when represented as authentic. You can clearly see where the trouble starts.
I would like to attempt to help you spot a fake Disney dvd and advise you to report all the items you buy on ebay to PayPal and Ebay regardless of the negative retaliatory feedback or threats you receive from these kind of sellers.
PayPal and Ebay move slowly on these matters but I can assure you they do not want these kind of sellers on their sites and will take steps to remove them.
Things to look for
No Buena Vista stamp on the back of the dvd. Please note if the dvd was bought through a major retail outlet Sears, Wallmart, BestBuy and so forth this stamp may not be on it. However it will have security seals.
The weight of a 2-disc copy will be almost 4 ounces less than an authentic 2-disc Disney dvd.
Cheap cardboard slip covers.
How long has this seller been on Ebay?
Does this seller have over 500 positive feedbacks on Disney products?
Are they selling a dvd for much less than a reliable Disney seller.
No inserts inside dvd case.
Seller with a large number of this rare dvd.
These are a few things you can look for on Disney dvds.
With that said I can tell you that the majority of all Disney dvd buyers do not know the difference between a fake and a real Disney dvd.
The fact that you have a 100% lifetime replacement guarantee on authentic Disney dvds direct from Disney is more than enough reason to invest in authentic instead of cheap copies.
There are many honest Disney sellers on Ebay and the quickest way to find them is run a search on whatever Disney dvd you are looking for and then go to highest price buy it now. They are all within the top 10 of that list.

I love the big top edition - the special features RULE! Dumbo is a great movie; I think it's adorable. But if you get dumbo big top edition, you get circus animal cards that go with a game on the DVD. There are many things I liked to do and see on the DVD. Most special about dumbo big top addition is the special features. One game is educational and teaches you all about animals. I love the big top edition; so go ahead and buy it, watch it for yourself, play the games - I hope you like them, too.

I liked the fact that I could purcahse more than one movie and save money, and that I could find anything that I wanted.

THis is a classic, deep for a children's movie, and at times, lacking some modern politically correct ideals. But nothing can replace the music, and the reconigtion that despite being different, Dumbo is special, and he found his way and self-worth.

My husband and I love to get our sons movies we grew up watching, when I found Dumbo I couldn't resist! My older son (4 yrs) totally loves this movie and is always asking for the flying elephant :)

A wondrful, short movie. I love this movie, though the pink elephant parade may scare the younger children, it is still great. Kind of sad but it ends happily. Great for family nights.

This is a great classic family movie! Everyone should own this! We are trying to collect all of the Disney classics.

I Love this movie and didn't want to pay a fortune from a store for it. This movie will complete my Disney classics collection that I have been working on for a couple of years now. It is very important for me to be able to show this movie that I grew up watching to my future children. It is normally hard to find because it goes in and out of the Disney vault. Dumbo makes you go through a number of emotions and of course has a happy ending. There is nothing a dislike about this colorful animal talking movie. I would recommend this for all families.

What's not to like about a flying elephant? Dumbo is a fresh and as entertaining as I was when I first saw it all those years ago. This hearwarming story hold up just fine - the songs are great - the animation marvelous - and the kids, young or old, will absolutely love it.

I loved this movie as a kid, it was one of my favorites. My daughter loves elephants so I bought it for her and now it's one of her favorite movies.

It has been more than a month since I ordered this Cd and have yet to receive it? I am not sure where to check why I haven't received this item? Any light you can shed on this would be most appreciated.

If you have never seen this movie, RENT IT, BUY IT just watch it. If nothing else look up the scence where Mama Jumbo sings to Dumbo. Everone in the movie is crying & you will too.

My son LOVES this movie he is almost 3. He watches all the time. I like it because there is no hard violence or bad language. The only part that is iffy is the " dumbo is drunk part" but of course a 3 year old doens't understand.

Dumbo is a classic. Our children saw this movie and instantly loved it. As a birthday present we started looking for the movie. It took us almost a month to find a reputable seller and a decent price. Not only did we get a good price, but we got excellent service as well. We recieved the movie a few days after we paid for it. What can I say you've got to add this one to your disney classic collection. It's an old movie but really cute my girls watch this over and over they're four and five. It's a cute movie.
