If you aren't a collector, stay away from this game. Buy the Super Mario Bros/ Duck Hunt game instead. Why ? Because after an half an our of shooting the same darn ducks, you have pretty much seen it ! Sure, you can also shoot on those "clay pidgeons" but it still stays a repetitive target shooter. And not to mention that annoying laughing dog... Another reason is the fact that the game has no ending... after 99 levels you go to level 00 and die because you can't see any ducks (but you still hear the sound of their wings)
Unless you are a collector or you want a trip down memory lane, you shouldn't buy this one. Buy one of those X in 1 instead ( Super Mario Bros / Duck Hunt ; Super Mario Bros / Duck Hunt / world class track meet ; ...)

This game is an instant classic. Loads of fun and very advanced control make this game essential for anyone who enjoys quick fun. I bought this item since it's a must have for any Nintendo collector. Make sure to pick this one up!

Duck Hunt NES.The original first person shooter game...Save for maybe Hogans Alley, but clearly the best for the little ones.
The game sends a dog over the brush to rustle up ducks. With the "Nintendo Zapper" light gun (required), you shoot the ducks. When you miss the dog giggles at you. It gets progressively harder.
That's it. Simple fun.

i dont understand how people cant like this game, its the most basic zapper game but its the most fun at the same time! and cmon now who hasnt wanted to shoot the dam dog, but its really fun and a definate to have, especialy with something like the 2 in 1 mario duckhunt or 3 in one with world class trackmeet, a definate in any NES players cabinet
