If you've never worked with drywall this would be a good book to get. But I was hoping for a little more about textures and this isn't the book for that.

Good book for the beginner dry wall installer. I saved lots of time and effort by knowing the basics of drywall installation like where do you start in a room. It also gives a good description of the finishes.
